Calendar Compilation of Powerful Speeches


The year  2009 has seen Darode-Jog Properties coming up with the calendar compilation of ‘Speeches that transformed the world’, designed by Pune-based Setu Advertising Pvt. Ltd. 


In this calendar one gets to read the extracts from some of the world’s most powerful speeches. These are the speeches which have influenced millions of people for decades after they have been delivered. They have sent a strong message, inspired, made people think and even instigated them to take a step forward in a specific direction.

These speeches have been made by the people who had the ability to lead and who have followers around the world even after they have long gone to meet their maker. These include speeches by personalities like Abraham Lincoln, Swami Vivekananda, Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, Nelson Mandela and others. This compilation has a suitable introduction by the former prime minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Speaking about the efforts that have gone behind this calendar, the design director of Setu Advertising Rugwed Deshpande says, “We had to put a lot of thought to make the final compilation, find out all the details about the speech and select the most relevant extract from it. Keeping in view the chiefly Indian audience we have maintained special focus on speeches made by Indian personalities while still including those delivered by leaders around the world.”
